Updated Parking Rules in Zeballos

Welcome to Zeballos! We’ve recently made some changes to our parking regulations to help keep things running smoothly—especially during the busy fishing and boating season.

The new regulations include:

• Parking is now limited to 30 consecutive days—after that, vehicles need to be moved.
• Parking passes are tied to your vehicle’s license plate, not the person using it.
• We’ve also introduced new parking rates, which you can find listed below.

With limited space in our small village, these updates help prevent long-term vehicle storage and ensure there’s room for everyone. Before you park, please check the rates and lot map to plan accordingly. View the full Traffic and Parking bylaw here to see additional regulations.

Fees for Parking

Parking fees can be paid inside the Village Office from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday (closed on statutory holidays) or after hours at the Village Office using the envelope provided to the left of the front door. If using the envelope system, please use the exact amount of cash required.

Please note that monthly and annual passes must be purchased at the Village Office during business hours as registration is required.

Fees for Launching & Moorage

Launching your boat and putting in your kayaks in Zeballos is easy, with a cement, all-tide launch ramp. Adjacent floats provide moorage for transient as well as resident boaters.

$1.00/ft per day – at the Municipal Wharf

**Moorage for the Small Craft Harbour (Federal Dock beside the boat ramp) must be paid to the Zeballos Harbour Authority and not the Village. To inquire about their rates, please call the Wharfinger at 250-761-4333**
